Junior Product Engineer

About the role

vvd is one workspace for the worlds people build and the stories they tell in them: collaborative wikis, a story editor, maps, family trees, mood boards, published reader sites.

This is a role for someone early in their career who already builds things and wants to get a lot better, fast. You will work alongside the founder and a small team, on a real product with real users, with a short path from idea to production.

What you will do

• Ship features end to end, with support: interface, server actions, and the data behind them
• Work in Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Supabase/Postgres
• Fix real bugs that real people reported this week
• Get your code reviewed properly, and learn from it

What we are looking for

• You have built and shipped something, anywhere. A side project counts, and we would rather see it than a CV bullet
• Comfortable in React and TypeScript, and not afraid of a codebase you have not seen before
• You ask good questions early instead of quietly getting stuck
• Care about how the thing feels to use, not only whether it works

How we work

Small team, remote, high trust. We ship daily. You will not be handed tickets in isolation, and you will not be left alone with something you cannot do.
